  • Interesting to note that...

...(as well as our victory) all the other results went our way yesterday.

Looking at our run-in how do you see it panning out with 10 games to go and 30 points to play for?

    QPR v Brentford - 12 Mar
    Preston v QPR - 19 Mar
    QPR v M'boro - 1 Apr
    Leeds v QPR - 5 Apr
    QPR v Charlton - 9 Apr
    Cardiff v QPR - 16 Apr
    Brighton v QPR - 19 Apr
    QPR v Reading - 23 Apr
    Burnley v QPR - 30 Apr
    QPR v Bristol C - 7 May

I suppose you have to take into account we haven't won 2 games on the bounce all season (apart from under Warnock).

Mid table is fine this year and anything better is a bonus.

10 games to go and its so hard to say how we will do as we are so hit and miss atm.

I;ll take top 12 and finishing above brentford and fulham right now if it was on the table.

and interestingly they will be entering a relatively poor EPL - based on this season's evidence, I think the top two divisions look to have had no real depth this term. And the financial incentive is massive.

However, I'm trying to manage expectations here and realistically, mid table is just fine.

Sorry to be pedantic but we actually won 3 on the spin at the start under CR (Wolves, Rothermam and Huddersfield). There was a cup defeat in there though.

To go back to original question I think about 10th we will finish.

                        QPR v Bristol C - 7 May WIN

                        Will put us about 10th - 13th I reckon.

Think it could be a low points tally this year to make the play-offs- around 70.......23 points in 10 games.

Brighton, Burnley and Cardiff away are going to be tough, but arguably although some tough fixtures, the rest are winnable? would give us 69 points and maybe enough.......

O who am i kidding, it will be win,Loss,Win,Loss etc.

Right you are Hoop, apologies for the oversight. Yes we lost to Carlisle after the Rotherham game. Not pedantic at all - these things matter

My results are put into the quote. I think it should be interesting, obviously some wins we expect will be draws and some draws losses. The championship is really so difficult to predict because form means sweet FA in this league.
