Still not exactly planning for the future. Just going to cause unnecessary distraction when he moves on..... especially if Hill and Dunne get injured/choose to retire, that'll leave 3 defenders moving on. IMO he's not that good to make such a big fuss about.Leave a comment:

Ignore this 80k B0llox, it's just a load of ignorant paper talk. It's a lot lower than that figure, and it's not a long-term deal. This is my understanding of the deal on offer.Leave a comment:

What is Harry's track record? I don't see why it's suddenly much better than Hughes' was two years ago, unless of course you've suddenly developed 20/20 hindsight.
Discounting Spurs and City as they're both a fair bit bigger than us, I'd say Hughes' record at Blackburn and Fulham was comfortably as good as Harry's at Portsmouth. Bear in mind HR spent as though he was at Spurs already, then left Pompey bankrupt and falling through the divisions. Hughes left both Fulham and Blackburn as established premier league teams on a smaller budget than we'll have this year.Leave a comment:

Not us. Fernandes. We can ***** and whine like piggies all we want. Like it or not, Harry has the track record, Hughes just had Kia and dollar signs. They're very different beasts and this is a very different QPR.
Rio on a pay as you play deal, which is what I understand is on the table, no brainer IMO.Leave a comment:

So you have no doubts about signing a 35 year old CB carrying a long term injury, to complement our other 35 year old CB and our 34 year old CB?
Sorry, but I cannot see the wisdom or logic in this at all. It's a huge risk.Leave a comment:

Indeed. Bet several fans were saying the same when we got that ex-England crock who had barely played since the days of black and white telly and lasted all of about seven minutes on his debut.Leave a comment:

hang on... are we supposed to "back the managers judgement" now? Look what happened last time we tried that.Leave a comment:

lots of QPR accountants on here....best let the real ones at the club worry about wages.

Can't vote yes or no as depends on the deal eg wages and whether Williams and/ or Lescott are realistic targets. I'm sceptical because its yet another short term fix but he's obviously a massive upgrade on what we have, even at his age.Leave a comment:

actually, brightonr lescott was on 120k per week. that does not mean he still wants that amount.
also, i dont have lescotts number to confirm this brighton but someone else on here may do.Leave a comment:
