  • Kevin Doyle - yes or no

Sorry if previously discussed, I'm a newbie and couldn't find a thread about it

    http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport...league-7053544

He wants to join (understandably) - would we take him on a permanant basis? I personally would, he'd be a good squad player if we go up, but even if we're in the championship next season he would still do a good job IMO.. Although I expect Arry won't be around to sign him if we are still in this league... Good attitude and a good partner for Austin. Although he wouldn't score tons of goals he'd hold the ball up and make space for others to benefit, and wouldn't cost an awful lot as Wolves want to get rid. Experienced in the PL and the SBC, no brainer get him in I say.

Feel free to say I'm talking ****

Nice first post, Doyle is that you??

I would sign him, decent back up player. AJ and Zamora will be gone, and we'd be left with just Austin...

Exactly this... needs to be Championship wages and then yes as his a good player.

This goes for most of our players.

I've added to the poll and welcome mmsranger.

Not for me. Stop gap player with a long injury record & age not on his side.

Yes, very good player, great sub player
                      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

No I wouldnt - been ok but not prolific and there are better targets out there whether we are prem league or championship....we dont owe him anything and we need to be investing in youth or players ages 22 -26 who will be with us for a few years.

You are right, I'd rather what you said but can you see Harry going that way?

Tony said he wants young players, Harry likes the older players. Tony said he lets the manager get on with it, which makes him nothing like Flavio.

The only way to fix this is if Tony & the board bring in a new young manager who also have the same visions, it may solve a lot of our problems on the pitch.

No. Been ok but not that impressive. Maybe in the championship as I know we'll lose Zamora and AJ, but only if he's really cheap.
