picture size

how comes when i post pictures im only getting postage stamp size pictures on the posts
this is a size matters thing and im losing by a country mile

any help would be appreciated,

Yes thats how picture uploads on the forums work. If you want the image to be bigger upload it to www.imgur.com and copy the bbcode link into your post.

why do some of the other posters manage to display a much larger image ?

Probably because they use an external picture hosting provider.
