    Chopra

Realise we don't appear to have any kind of transfer budget whatsoever but see The Times is reporting today that Chopra will sign for Ipswich for £1m. He might not be the greatest, particularly at Premiership level, but he sure would be an improvement on Agyman, Hulse and German.

On that basis, we may as well sign "Bouncer" from Neighbours.

And he was tragically run over 7 times in 3 years.

That's unfortunate, what did he do: go sunbathing on the M25?

I'm just saying we might as well be realistic and accept that unless something dramatic happens soon at boardroom level it doesn't look like there will be serious funds available so just suggesting ways of making the best of a bad job.

If DJ Campbell could be captured for £1.25 then would be a great signing but suspect if we did bid that others would enter the fray. And as one of the regulars on here - Ric Roc i think - was reporting that Campbell had told him directly that he wasn't coming to QPR I'm not holding my breath on that.

Think we should at least make an attempt to be patient.

People keep saying that Norwich and Swansea have strengthened their squads, but personally speaking, this time last year I would have considered the players they have bought to be really good buys.

However, we have won promotion to a better league, as champions. Perhaps OUR singnings when they appear, will be ones that we will not have to worry as to wether they are capable of playing at a much better standard.

Wishful thinking possibly, but you never know.

I would rather play Troy Hewitt then.

Didn't say he wasn't coming but said he can't see it happening. Plus made it clear wasn't sure if he wanted to be back in London anyway. He's living in Watford but is happy being out in the sticks. Said 4 clubs after him, Bolton, Fulham, Sunderland & can't remember the other.

I don't know if Rangers are even after him but gut feeling says he'd come if offered.

OK thanks Ric Roc. So QPR wasn't even among the clubs after him? This sounds like Paladini's Hooper bid all over again - so discreet the chairman of the selling club didn't even hear it....

Do you know what mate Rangers might be after him I don't honestly know but he just gave me the impression he wasn't that bothered. Might just be playing it down. Also the amount of people who'd drive him mad for tickets etc I don't think he needs the hassle.
