Dave, not convinced about the whole Hooper PR thing, yes think he will do a Job in the Championship but think Austin (if fit) better option long term. Think you might be right, probably using rumours about bid for Austin to hurry up Hooper into a decision.Originally posted by QPRDave View Postbut this bulls**t ricky because our bid was accepted so i doubt there's any truth in the Austin bid either

No he wasn't. He even put in his post it was a take it or leave it offer. This thread was started today. Our accepted bid for Hooper was made Monday night.Originally posted by janemelanie View PostYes I can. However SuperHoopNik is referring to the first offer which I know was rejected. The take it or leave it offer was the second one which I understand has been accepted.

My mate is a Swindon town fan (season ticket holder for years) andrates him highly, an instinct player. He dislocated his shoulder when he was there and it has popped out a few times, which is why he failed the medical. But would he have the right attitude and lifestyle to propelle us back to the premier league.

Hello mate, didn't know all the details myself but it appears the £5m was accepted according to sky, so just ignore what I said, I was looking at loads of tweets and sort of assumed stuff! I hope the Austin enquiry is true though, looks like there's some truth in it after the change in odds.Originally posted by Mattyqpr View PostNo he wasn't. Charlie Austin failed his medical at Hull due to a knee problem. Having listened to Steve Bruce the other night it seems it's in a bit of a mess and Charlie knew nothing about it. It must have been bad for Hull not to even consider a lower fee to Burnley. Maybe it's a case of the Demba Ba situation.Originally posted by Magister_r View PostMy mate is a Swindon town fan (season ticket holder for years) andrates him highly, an instinct player. Yeah I'd like Austin but not quite sure after he failed a medical at Hull.

Maybe, but he does have a history of dislocated shoulder 3 times in 3 years. He also played 45 mins last night.Originally posted by Mattyqpr View PostCharlie Austin failed his medical at Hull due to a knee problem.
