QPR should have spent money in January to try and improve the squad; QPR don't have any young players who are ready to step up to Premiership football; If QPR want to stay up, the manager needs to have players up to standard now, not in 2or 3 years. QPR are in a relegation scrap and inexperienced kids (probably out of their depth) are not going to be the best choice of players to win it.

Fernandes doesn't appear to have a plan for the club, as it seems to change far to frequently i.e. spend in 2013, but not in 2015; Redknapp is the right man for the job, but then denied funds to improve the squad and so resigns after the window has closed.
        Has he really?
QPR should have spent money in January to try and improve the squad - been there, done that and it worked out well in 12/13 didn't it. The kind of players he would be talking of would all be a burden on FFP and wouldn't want to stay and play fizzy pop football.
Dougherty and Furlong have performed well in their brief stints and are only being played due to a pretty big injury list. What happens when those crocks return?

Fernandes doesn't appear to have a plan for the club - old news - listen to the various interviews and comments on the topic. Now there is a plan but it doesn't sit comfortably with his mate because all he wanted to do was spend, spend, spend, window after window on names and reputations which, frankly has kept us rooted in and around the bottom 3 of the EPL for the entirety of our two recent and brief stays.

          Spot..... on!!......

In addition, how does this fat #### know that we aint got any youngsters who are good enough to step up to premier league football? - Doughty is proving that he is as did Furlong on his debut.
They are being given the chance to prove if they are or not, which is what they deserve! And I think Chris Ramsey is a little more qualified than Martin Samuel in the department of knowing which youngsters may be good enough.

one way or another Samuels is spot on ! with Sandro getting a straight red we are down to one senior holding m/fielder , at centre back we have one liability and one senior with 3 months left on his contract , yep the club has done everything to prove this fat slug right because we are never going to find enough young players to fill the gaps

Not too bad an article is it?.....I think it's a bit rich to sl*g off Tone for signings when his mate must have said he wants them.
Think we should've signed a couple in jan personally but then Harry would've stayed and imo that wasn't in Les's plan

Not sure if Sandro is banned for the prem games because of that red.... we await confirmation.

We have enough youngsters to fill the gaps IMO and its up to them whether they take their chance when given to them - Its up to them to prove they are good enough.
We don't know if they are until we try them.. Which is what we have done with Doughty and Furlong.

So true... Wasn't one of HR's lines something like... 'if I had anyone good enough in the U21's I would play them'

This fat slug will say and be proved right in hindsight we needed signings in January and history will prove hm right , how much will relegation cost us far more than laying out 10= 15m on 3 players .
I can guarantee he will do full spread next season with ffp penalty and a possible transfer embargo

Yep because spending that amount of money in January in 2012/13 worked out well didn't it

Our chances of staying up improved the day HR left it's just a shame TF didn't have the ######## to do it after the West Ham game

Not saying HR could have kept us up , but hope you can come back and confirm that in may

Well we didn't get an away point under him this season ( never looked like doing so ) so no we wouldn't stayed up under him

I can accept some of your points but certainly not the latter. You say his mate only wanted to spend and I agree, so how on Earth was he the best man for the job? if Fernandes had a plan surely sacking Redknapp was the right decision and appointing someone who could coach and motivate.
As for spending being wrong, well it seems to be working well so far for Hull. N'Doye cost £3m and had helped win 6 points in 2 games.
If QPR had any kind of scouting network they might be able to find players whocan improve the team.
