Mate let me assure you, no where near that mark, they know when they make these remarks, the first thing that fans do is post it on several message boards. There the ones laughing knowing fans get taking in by it, its the same when they are asked where there going to, they will tell you a club knowing full well its BS, but its posted on every message board or twitter, its all a big wind up.

My point exactly, they do it because it hurts and winds fans up, he new that would be all over the Internet, you can smoke a £50 on 5k a week if you wanted to.

Granted, that smoking of the $$'s was bang out of order, but how can we dig at the man for what he's earning? Is it his fault he's being over paid. When we signed him, he was probably our best player. Very intelligent footballer who was worth a decent wage. He got injured, and has acted a c**t since, but he's within his right to see out his contract. It's what they're there for.

To be fair, I don't blame him either.

Long term he probably fears the insecurities of playing football even at a lower level and wants go grab the money whilst he can.

lets face it, very likely if he had not got injured, he would have been a player capable of playing in the Premiership.

hell be on a big sum, was defo on over 20 k with a promotion clause in there that wages would rise to x if we achieved it, as stated was a prem player
hes not going to walk away from his contract cos he will because of that cu@@ pickens never be able to earn a decent salary again, this last year prob sets him up for next few years, and to be fair hes prob think fu@@ all us lot cos weve done nothing but #### him off for 18 months

this again comes on to the challenge for the club currently cos we think theres load of money but we forget how much tied up in deadwood at the club like vine dave etc etc
