Spot on mate. Peoples Judgement on him on this site has bemused me for ages.
Good player who clearly just needed game time.
Personally thought he showed what a good player he was in the championship before he got injured.

Phillips fell out of favour under previous boss Harry Redknapp and looked like being one of a handful of players set for a January exit.
But director of Football, Les Ferdinand, insisted the club would keep Phillips and has got him working closely with caretaker manager Chris Ramsey, who has started him in their last two matches.

I can understand giving Phillips a clean slate, like mentioned above he's young, powerful, got plenty of pace and bags of 'potential'....... but as for SWP, a complete waist of time/breath/energy/space!!! Hasnt looked any better/good since he's been back. Just the usual 1 trick pony he has always been, just like Hoilett imho.SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

Lets see where we are a month from now before getting carried away...!
As for Phillips, yes, he has had a decent then good game. but the fact is he can deliver crosses better than Hoilett and SWP.
