Based on last nights performance I can say that I will happily eat humble pie IF he can continue with that sort of team performance for the next few games. I ever never questioned his ability but more his overall performance. Yesterday I thought he was superb. He didnt over do anything apart from one time on the edge of sunderlands box when sunderland broke and to be fair should of scored. But you could tell he had the sunderland defence on the back foot. His first touch was outstanding and he didnt seem to dwell on the ball for to long he got it and gave it. I dont think Barton was great yesterday but he soon livened up when Taarabt came on. First half I couldnt see a goal coming from anywhere and to be fair the goals didnt really involve Taarabt from memory but he clearly helped free up space. Cattermole was rattled and i think if we kept going for the 3rd he may of done something rash. anyway Taarabt I dont like you as a person for many reasons but keep it up. well played.
