Good game this. Rangers have some cracking players, really like that Tavenier.

On a sidenote ( excuse me, Loftbalcony) Celtic`s norwegian CB is a promising player. Not sure whether or not he is playing today though..

Once again you have totally missed the point as to why we're all annoyed. But whatever, no point going round in circles again is there?!!Originally posted by Pinkie View Post
honestly you can say what you like ol furtive but boy do you lot go on about absolutely anything, hes still our player no matter what, just cos he went out on loan doesnt mean for one moment hes not wanted at all, just to give him a chance to prove himself and get match practise experience and fitness.....simples

Did Holloway not say he would not fit in to the system we have used badly? Does not give the impression of someone being wanted.

Probably pitches up outside Ollie's house every night. Wouldn't surprise me if Ollie has an injunction against him.

Your defence of the guy is astounding Pinks. I'm starting to wonder if you are either a.) On Ollies payroll, or b.) Straight up bonkers!

True. Vaguely remember him saying he needed to adapt to the division as he found it a bigger physical step than he thought but I would have thought he'd get more games...deffo.Originally posted by Hitman34 View Posthe is mate but, when we signed him he scored on his debut, was dropped to the bench straight after, came on a few times as wingback, then never seen again.

Yeah thought he looked quite good in that game vs middlesbro when he scored tbhOriginally posted by Hitman34 View Posthe is mate but, when we signed him he scored on his debut, was dropped to the bench straight after, came on a few times as wingback, then never seen again.

Add wheeler to thatOriginally posted by topperharley View PostIt is bizarre to want a manager to fail. But Ollie has done this himself. It's not about Goss being the next messiah, it's about how the lad obviously has talent but Ollie refused to unlock it. The bad press is a knock on effect from the way he treats players like Pav. He's a bloody good winger at this level yet Ollie insists on hampering him at wingback. Sure try it, but if doesn't work stop forcing the square brick in the round hole like my 1 year old tries to do. Even he gets that it doesn't work and crawls off to try something else after a while (he might be a bit thick i'm not sure yet).
Point is Ollie gave this kid 6 appearances, 3 he was subbed for and the other 3 he came on as sub. He's been snubbed since then, and now is doing pretty well on loan. I'm bloody glad he's doing well on loan, and wouldn't bear a grudge to our manager if he'd given him a fairer crack of the whip. It's obvious he's after a certain type of player and won;t adapt when a talent comes along.
It's like Conor, he's average, but stick plenty of through balls in and he seems to come alive and bother the defence, yet how often have we done that this season?! Like Matt Smith, a giant whos good with his head, yet we don't play wingers to hammer balls in, we play 3 centre midfielders who are seemingly told to play it square in the air to him.
I dunno, i don't think Goss deserves a 14 page thread, but he's the straw that broke that camels back for me.
