Think Chery still needs to get to grips with the championship, hence NW not playing him. Thought Hoilett has done well when he has started recently and brings raw pace into that forwards position which us vital IMO. Also think Hoilett has tracked back well when needed which is something Chery needs to work on. Glad it now looks like we have decent options in these positions and with Charlie back to fitness Phillips can be moved back to the wing where I think he is strongest. Just look at the difference in his performance on Saturday after Charlie and Chery come on as one example.

Gives you options when Fer is back etc.

Dont think it quite fair to label this as "being mis managed" for 4 years. Couldn't have helped the bloke when people were on his case week in, week out and booing him.

Will reserve judgement to see if he can get a bit of consistency going.

I am assuming his contract is coming to an end soon? Not pointing the finger at him just yet, but funny how so many players suddenly turn it on the season their contract is up. Of course he has a long way to go yet to completely turn things around for his so far disappointing qpr career, but im behind him and hope he does.

They should ask each player where they enjoy playing most, this just shows by playing players out of position they go from being good to really bad.

Surely it is better to play a player that is half as good but enjoys that position then sticking a player who don't want to be there?

    It's basics but...

Massive improvement from the guy and looked more confident in this role. For me, he works a lot harder than Chery.........

We've been playing him in the wrong position all the time he has been with us. As is the norm Rangers poor management contributes to players rapid decline in form once they have signed

Remember when he was on fire at Blackburn? Yes he played behind the striker! But there is a lot of competion as already said there so it's tough choice for manager but a good one to have

I have always said he is not a winger. As you say, he cant cross the ball well enough to play on either wing. If he is to play it had to be behind the striker.

Chery there was miles better. Holliet starts on the left for me. Could change it around during the game though.

Hope to see hoilett play once more in that role on thursday and then see the other 2 get two games each to stake their claims in that position before the halfway point of the season. Then we can really see who we should go with.
Hear your point Nas but if he playing there and we'll the others need to wait no place for sentiment he's got the shirt on SATs effort and its for him to give it up. Someone like him is a confidence player so can't dip him in and out
