As NewarkR rightly pointed out that context is everything especially when stats are concerned. The stats below show Pellicori's record to date which have been gathered using a number of different websites. I never use Wikipedia as it very rarely is accurate but Wikipedia does state that Pellicori has played and scored for some lower league sides in Italy (11 goals in 56 appearances) but I haven't found anything that backs this up. The stats below show his record at the Championship equivalent (Serie B) and at a higher level (Serie A).

Last season the average goals per game in Serie B were 2.38 as opposed to 2.45 in the Championship. The 0.07 goals per game ratio difference basically means that for every 14th match there is one extra goal in the Championship compared with Serie B meaning over the course of the 552 matches in the Championship an extra 38 goals were scored. Taking this into account it shows that it is equally as hard to score in the Championship as it is in Serie B. For further proof of this there were more goals scored in Serie A last season that there was in the Premiership (same amount of teams in both leagues but 42 more goals scored in Serie A than the Premiership).
