"glamour, sparkle and an exhilarating cutting edge"

Lovely report about us in The Times...

"...the Eighties are truly back in fashion. For long periods last night, Queens Park Rangers captured the mood to perfection. Just like their illustrious predecessors that graced the top flight, this team have a glamour, sparkle and an exhilarating cutting edge..."

I have to agree. all I kept heard people saying last night was "this is just like the old days".

That goal by Simpson was a throw back to the days of Francis, Thomas, Givens and Bowles.

Taarbt - A modern day Stan the man
Buzz - Well Stainrod, Marsh or just The White Pele? Take your pick
    Routledge - Trevor Sinclair reborn
Faurlin - A Gerry Francis in the making
Simpson - A young Sir Les?

RoutledgeForEngland will be wetting his pants this morning!!!

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Nice quote here too from Buzz in the evening standard: "Premier League teams rely on their creative players and we are the same," the Hungarian midfielder said. "We are a smaller version in the Championship, but we have a lot of good players who can keep the ball forever.

"Everyone is enjoying themselves at the moment. We have good players here who can play attractive football."
