  • Players Sold/Before Any Buys

The club will look to take at least 8 players (maybe 10) off the pay-roll before any new playings come to the club. It is believed 2 extra strikers will come to the club and possibly a left back, but anyone expecting major changes to the playing staff will be in for a surprise.

The club have to run a sustainable business and money I guess is being lost left right and centre. A play-off spot would have seen some money re-couped, but comparatively low crowds and the lack of major sponsorhip until we reach the premiership, means the club have to run a tight ship. The season ticket prices were calculated at the time we were level on points with cardiff and the club hoped of a very good finish to the season.

Don't expect a big budget for summer buys.

It is rumored that tarrabat from Spurs will get a season long loan at Rangers and De carmine will probably return to Italy (contrary to what i said a few weeks ago). Plus the obvious candidates that will be sold in the summer.

I have heard the same Pete.

It's a shame the club were happy to spend 10 million on doing up the ground but only spent a fraction of that on playing staff last summer.

I doubt the squad will be strong enough next summer if Sousa has to work off free transfers.

Paladini earns more than the players doesnt he ??
Once we get him off the wage bill, we will be able to bring in 2 new full backs with the money we have wasted on Paladini's wages = Good & common sense speaking from a business perspective.
I think it is good business sense to want to get players off the wage bill before we bring new players in, 8 - 10 players you say ? apart from Camp & Blackstock, who will we get considerable transfer fee's from ??
& if we dont get considerable transfer fee's & instead are left witth "Dead Wood" seeing out their four year contracts Winston Bogarde style, then who do we blame for this state of affairs ??
It's hardly Rocket Science is it ??

Well of course Pete but many people are being asked to find massive money for season tickets whilst the club continue to wheel and deal.

I honestly would of expected us to go for it a bit more given the financial power of our board members.

          It would appear not.

If we get the lad from Spurs all next season on loan that would be a good move. He has bags of talent and certainly gets the crowd buzzing.

GP earns less than any player and less than Ali Russell.

Our season tickets are going up as of the latter's inability to bring commercial revenue to the club - and thats a fact

EDIT: and your obsession with full backs is starting to make me laugh. If I google "professional football full-back players agent - specialises in the Championship, based in London" I reckon your company name will come up ;)

KLR is talking out of his back passage.

All first team players indivdually earn more, per year.

                They are professional footballers!!

How much does he earn then Scott ??
The figure I have heard is £500K a year and he managed to wangle himself a five year contract when the rich people took over ??
I doubt if we have any players on over half a million a year ??
Does he earn money from individual transfers ??
What is the exact figure that he earns ??
Surely from a legal perspective this information should be readily available somewhere ??
So many questions, so few answers.
So dont try and blame or silence people for insinuating that there are STILL "Dodgy" goings on at our football club.
If something isnt right, then why should people turn a blind eye ?
                  Dont insult peoples intelligence.

a fifth less than the average 1st team wage.

i'm sure these things will be in the accounts.

Anyway, back to your left back agency that you surely most work for ;)

                    Who do you recommend?

But Paladini "saved" our club, therefore he is beyond reproach. In fact he is saint Gianni of Shepherds Bush.

                            a) none of your business - or mine
                            b) nope, that would be illegal i would have thought
                            c) what is your defenders agency called? I've never rated Delaney so, any recommendations for possible transfers would be appreciated.

Flavio agrees the deal, its up to him.
