Harriman and Ehmer are no better than what we have out there imo. Cant see them ever breaking into the first team unless we get rid of the majority of this squad of losers.Originally posted by Mark J View PostHarry is playing the same **** week in week out....does he really expect an different outcome? Why does he not put in one or two of the youngsters? Is it because they are not in the 25 man squad? Players like harriman, ehmer will at least try........not as if we have anyting to lose it it???

What a lot of you don't mention is that we had a really poor business model for the club.
Too many managers, too many players and too many big ideas.
We should had done what swansea, norwich and watford have done, kept it simple and build a team around youth.
They just totally got it wrong.

Agree 100%... August 2011 till now we have been run very poorly and there is not many boards who could have managed to spend so much and achieve so little. Have they learnt a lesson? Well Fernandes admits to being exploited and to having his "trousers pulled down" but i am not sure if he will turn into a decent Chairman/owner overnight.Originally posted by ollyhoops View PostWhat a lot of you don't mention is that we had a really poor business model for the club.

Not sure that was the answer either. We don't have any decent youngsters pushing for a start. Thanks to Briatore and Ecclestone we were completely unprepared for the Prem and have been jumping from one panic solution to the next ever since. Villa had a very youthful team and were constantly attacked for being naive and will probably just survive by the seat of their pants. We should have had one or two more youthful players (tom ince, townsend from the start) to create a balance. Hughes went for "experience" but sadly all the experienced players he signed clearly had no fight or ambition left.Originally posted by ollyhoops View PostWhat a lot of you don't mention is that we had a really poor business model for the club.
