Matched with Wally Downes tweet this morning, it's a no-brainer, Warnock played the same game.

TF was absolutely raped. Hughes' agent being one the most notorious. Tbf, these issues were raised at the time.....

Sorry, found out the tweets were 2+ years old and not recent. So I deleted my comment.

No no, it doesn't matter if they were 2 years old, still a valid post of what Puncheon said at the time.

Makes me laugh how people over here are always sneering about corruption in say, Nigeria or Russia.... I actually prefer their approach: out in the open and the way to do business. All the skulking about over here blathering on about the "football family" etc - they're all culpable and complicit I reckon, boards, owners, CEOs, managers, administrators etc etc - all got their snouts in the trough at our expense.

Yes, because his alleged off-field antics were totally trumped by his on-field achievements.

But if true we may have had better more sustainable club if the first interests were the club and not the individual. Do they have blood on their hands for our current financial situation

We all knew what Puncheon said (or didn't say) was probably true. Like has been said, where there's money there's corruption.

Probably everyone in football has their hand in the till, it's just to be seen who's been caught.

I'd still have Warnock back as manager.
