Just a thought- if Ned were sweeping IN fRONT of Rio/Steve it would allow midfield to push up . I do accept that we might get caught square and the wing backs might not be able to cover in time.- thoughts

Interesting point as I said in the season we were going down I think that Nedum would be a beast playing the defensive midfielder role given his size, pace and he is ok at carrying the ball. Would win headers in the middle of the park and add some muscle. Want him at the back but if called upon think he could play that role with ease

I'm pretty sure Rio will play sweeper just behind Ned and Steve. That we he can pick up anything they miss, read the game, organise them properly and carry the ball forward knowing he has 2 good defenders behind him
