What on earth is going on at Leicester with their new striker search!

7.5 mill for Ulloa from Brighton and now have just seen this morning Watford have rejected a 7.5 mill bid for Troy Deeney!

Whats the going rate for Championship striker who scores close to 20 goals a season! With McCormack going for 11 mill.

Ridiculous, there is no way that Ulloa or Deeney are worth 7 mill

Over 15m on them two is crazy. We got lucky with the timing of signing Austin as imagine his price this summer...

Ulloa's actual transfer goes up to £10m based on games and goals!

Not saying it is right, but if you had a 20 goal a season player, would you be happy letting him go for £4m? Especially when you have to replace him. Leeds did fantastically well out of McCormack as he was almost off to Cardiff a while ago for £2m!

With the way we buy and sell players we'd most probably get half what we paid for him!

Farkin hilarious that Mccormack goe for £2.5m more than French international proven Premiership scorer.

Its shocking mate tbh. I really want deeney at QPR but not for 7.5 mill - thats a absolute joke. The leeds deal for mccormack has set a very dangerous bench mark. Even seeing a champiuonship club spend 11 mill on a striker is ludicrous.
Prefer to of taken a punt on that hogan fella at 750 k then deeney at 7 - 8 mill.

They could have spent just £3m more & got Borini (£14m !)

And this is probably why were struggling to get people through the door as I have no doubt we are being quoted these inflated prices too for the players we are after and the board are saying no chance and rightly so

To many people on here are quick to moan about lack of transfer activity without knowing what is going on in the background and what silly prices clubs are after

Inflated prices for players in this transfer window must be the reason we are slow with our activity.. which is not a bad thing!!

How the hell did we get Charlie in for 4mil?!

Ulloa's record is actually pretty decent, but 7.5mil for an unproven Prem player...crazy. Sounds a bit like the Dwight Gayle signing last season

Right time, right place for Charlie and I reckon it will be one of the best deals we will have ever done as his value will rocket.

As for an unproven PL player, look at Norwich last season - went abroad for Van Wolfswinkel, spent £8m (I think) and he did nothing. At least Ulloa is settled in England already - a huge factor in itself. May be a shrewd buy for the foxes.

When you hear things like this it makes you sick knowing we'll only get £8-£11million for Remy, who's represented his country at the World Cup. Crazy!

If the sell out clause was not in there he would never have been a QPR player - but yes he cost us 8m

Leicester also set to sign Fraizer Campbell on a basic wage of 30k a week. Madness given his injury record.
