Blimey some people just love having scapegoats don't they....

Lets forget the perceived stereotype that he's been tagged with and deal with facts.

Today he did everything asked of him defensively, including one brilliant last ditch cover tackle near the end when Benteke got behind Hill or Nelsen and about to pull the trigger about 8 yards out. He was also our most influential attacking outlet bombing forward every chance he got. He linked play well, was always an option and whipped in many good balls....

What do some people really expect of a full back!?

the weakest attack we faced this season
a defender putting a tackle in , what next ,banging crosses into an empty goalmouth great ,all this for 60k a week a bargain in anyones eyes

I'm lost for words - someone slated Green on another thread and now Bosingwa......that's the best game he's had for us and whilst he may not have performed like a superstar, he was one of the best out there today and did more than your average Rangers full back over the last few seasons.

According to Opta, Bos was our second most influential player today. Second top passer and second top attacking third passer, after Adel in all cases.

On a regular basis Bos does well in the stats charts. Can't understand why he gets so much stick from some people.

Yet another thread you've decided to dig out a fellow fan without bothering to argue your corner. What makes you such an expert on the game that you can keep having a pop about someone's opinion?

Coming from Chelski I think he was onto a loser from the off with some fans.

With some fans yes, but we've had some good players from there over the years. Webb Furlong Spencer Peacock immediately spring to mind.

Boo boys nearly got rid of Furs before he'd even collected his first pay packet. Sound familiar?
