  • Bristol City Match Thread

    Monday 3rd January 2011
    Loftus Road Stadium
    Npower Football League Championship
    Referee: F Graham
    Kick-off: 15:00
Queens Park Rangers (1st) V Bristol City (17th)
    By The Godfather

Queens Park Rangers suffered a 1-0 defeat to promotion rivals, Norwich City, on Saturday afternoon. Once again, they were reduced to ten men, with Matthew Connolly seeing red for a professional foul. Frankly, this was always going to be a very difficult fixture and had I been offered six points from three matches prior to Christmas I would have gladly accepted. However, with Swansea City winning their New Year’s Day match, it is crucial that the Rs return to winning ways against Bristol City, a side that has not enjoyed a particularly successful start to the campaign.

      team line-up

Bradley Orr in at FB, Clint with Gorsksy at CB.
Smith starts, and Moen on bench.
      Hulse up front
German also on bench, no mention of Clark

clarke is on the bench mate
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

OK, didn't hear his name on i-player.

Agyemang on bench too, so choice of 3 strikers primed in case Hulse has an off day?

Is HH injured? sorry if old news

            HH must be injured.

German, borrowdale and clarke is a very weak bench mate.

I really hope we use rowlands if we are losing that midfield battle.

Bloke on Radio Bristol hasn't done his homework. Reckons Walker right back, Orr left back and Hill centre half alongside Gorkss.

Not seen German play for ages, mid last season IIRC, was impressed with him then looked quick and sharp, and i wonder if he has matured and improved?

Kyle played really well on the left last game against Coventry, so I prefer him there anyway with Orr on the right because he works well with Mackie.

4th home game I have missed all season and I have a throat infection.

I know people expect me to be at every game but it doesn't mean I can't show passion for my club.
