That's sad news for sure. Remember seeing Pat play. If I recall correctly he was a no nonsense full back. Always gave 100% and nothing less. Good, solid defender and a very loyal servant to the club. Something we don't see much of now. Don't get me started on that tho' !

i came across this just reading up about pat woods (too young to remember this player) - sounds like he was part of a really close group of players for the Rs.
              Nice to read.

RIP, as ever thoughts with his loved ones.

                RIP Pat.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Having supported the R's for 60 years,I remember Pat very well.Sported a naturally bald head 50 years before shaved heads came into fashion.Combative right back with Tony Ingham captain at left back. Can't believe he was 79 when he died, where's the time gone. Will be sadly missed.

Tbh not heard of him before now but never nice to hear of anybody passing away, especially not a former R. Rest in Peace.

That's a brilliant photo. Too young to know him but always sad to lose someone in the R's family.
