10% of LR is around 1,800...think the top and bottom combined are around 2...so that pretty much works out right.Originally posted by irememberlesley View PostI thought teams were obliged to only give 10% of their capacity to away fans?
10% is pretty much the top tier.
Away teams certainly don't get 10% at Anfield. 3,000 odd in a 45000 capacity?

The rule for Premier League matches is 10% or 3000 whichever is smaller so they give the amount they should do. They won't give any more.Originally posted by irememberlesley View PostI thought teams were obliged to only give 10% of their capacity to away fans?

We have to give away teams the bottom tier if they ask for their full allocation as the top alone does not meet the requirements.Originally posted by irememberlesley View Post1700 top
1100 bottom I believe
This means that away teams get more tickets then they are actually due because of segregation and prevents home fans sitting down stairs.
Therefore would it not make sense to put the seats back in the corners of the upper tier and sell them as restricted views. Both corners I would guess would increase the upper capacity by 200 maybe 300 seats combined and would mean we would not have to offer the lower tier to away teams as the upper alone would meet the regulations.

we do not have to give, or even offer, both tiers for ANY league game.
