I think you're wrong about NW wanting AT out. I think Hitzlsperger would be Faurlin's new partner -- even NW wouldn't play Derry out of loyalty if it was clear that the Prem is beyond him, and we'd need someone else.

Donīt think he should be used in the "Adel role", not that type of player. He could do a job for us in front of the back four together with Faurlin. Good passer, not afraid to tackle, clever and occasionally bombing forward using his rocket of a shot.

He is a center mid, not a wide man or a 'in the hole' man.

Derry or Faurlin are the only 2 men he could replace. The most likely would be Faurlin as he isn't a defensive mid either.
