                        and if that the case whats the point in going through the motions with announcing the fixtures live on sky

                          Sky would never leak the fixtures in a million years. To tied in with the PL and ruins their Wednesday scheduling.

                          PLUS - all the PL clubs get the first draft of the fixtures today and then sit down with the police to run through them. Hence I cannot see Arsenal v West Ham being allowed to take place on the first Saturday. Possible it could be moved to a 1.30 kick off on the Sunday but really couldn't see it being a 3pm Saturday game on a hot August day! The police now push the clubs for what they term "full cost recovery" wherever possible and that would cost Arsenal a huge sum.
