Is Pete starting a campaign for us not to get a manager instead of his last one to get a manager sacked?

            Only joking Pete :chill:

Offered a generous salary, bonuses, a transfer kitty befitting a wealthy club like QPR, the ability to bring in whoever he wants, if he can.......Why would a "decent" manager turn his back on that lot?

The reasons why QPR are attracting the likes of Boothroyd, Magilton, etc,etc.....Are the lack of all of the above paragraph.

Our board in it's infinate wisdom, has decided that to get out of the toughest league in the world, one has to play it low key, very low key, with the emphasis on low key! A decent manager wouldn't touch that with a ten foot one!!!

it's a subtle mechanism to show the rest of the football world who the id.iots are.

Depends what you count as decent......

A proven manager would deem this as very very risky - perception of failure here with hire 'em fire 'em type owners and interference would be high and thus damaging to a perhaps solid or improving reputation.

An experienced and out of work manager loooking to repair a previously good reputation or a young gun with ambition or a foreign manager who doesn't have a dicky bird could see this as a very interesting role. Very high profile; high profile owners; high profile media coverage (compared to similar sized CCC clubs in the provinces); huge potential; possible decent transfer kitty (Sporting Director's sticky interfering paws not withstanding ) ; and, let's face it, decent possibility of a stonking pay off when it all goes south.....

So......your "no chances" using that criteria would be the likes of Coppell, Curbishley, Eriksson, Hoddle, Pearce, Venables etc....

Your "hmm, maybe's" would be the likes of Ferguson Jnr, Di Matteo, O'Driscoll, Blackwell, Gerry Francis, Collins, O'Leary, Tapia or Black

Those who would bite your hand off would be the likes of De Canio, Magilton, Calderwood, Andy Scott, Boothroyd, Ainsworth, Peter Reid....

Those in that last camp also have the added bonus of being dirt cheap
