  • Winning back respect and fans.

If I had any power at the clubs I would carry out these simple tasks:

    1) Improve facilities in the School End and reduce prices in these areas. This will improve relations with other clubs and respect from visiting away fans

    2) Write a letter to the first 50 kids who have renewed or bought a season ticket for the first time and tell them they have won the opportunity to be a mascot next season. Not only would this be seen as a nice gesture but it would also mean that the parents would want to come and thus they would have to buy tickets and spend money.

    3) Write to the local schools and ask for volunteers to come and be ball boys and girls at home matches. Throw in some free shirts, food and the opportunity to meet the players and you'll gain some new fans who have not previously visited Loftus Road and will want to come back in the future.

    4) Kids for a quid on all Tuesday night and Sky games as both times the attendances are lower and by allowing kids to get in for cheaper they have to bring an adult who then has to spend money.

    5) All child ST holders would receive a card plus a £5 gift voucher on their birthday. As most things cost more than a £5 they'll have to spend more money in the shop. The card is a nice gesture and will improve relations.

    6) Give free tickets to all ST holders to the first home Carling and FA Cup matches unless against a Premiership team. Good will gesture and boosts attendances.

    7) Announce a price freeze on STs for 2010/11 even if the club make the Premiership thus being an incentive to buy for this year.

    8) Announce a pricing structure for all matches and a promise that there will be no increases mid season

    9) When STs are issued send out a club scarf and ask the fans to bring them to the first match. The scarf is a nice gesture of saying thank you for the support and the visual of all scarf being waved at our first home match shows unity.

Can't think of a number 10 but do you have any ideas?

Probably true but most of these ideas would actually make them money.

Getting kids in to be ball boys and girls who don't support QPR potentially means new fans and parents who have to come with them, which equals money spent. Things like kids for a quid boosts attendances and with it refreshment, food and sales in the club shop.
