Why would we want a "big prem team" ? pre season is all about team work / playing time / confidence. Pre season frendlies against whatever opposition DOES not mirror a competitive game and the result is immaterial, infact it could totally shaft confidence instead of building it. Therefore I presume the only benefit would be the gate money - I for one am a lot happier paying £5 to watch this game, as it would be not to disimiliar to a so called big team ( and a big well done rangers on the price of this game - I remember a couple of years ago shelling out £20 for Chievo!)Originally posted by dpmd View PostNW used to be manager there I guess. But there goes the possibility of a big Prem team friendly at home though...
It's all about building for Saturday August 7th onwards
