For me after speaking to my dad after Simpson is not the man we need. Dex would have had a better scoring record this season given the chances. Simpson should be leading the division in scoring if he was taking his chances properly. Hope NW has his target lined up for the off season.

Actually if Dex was still here, him and Simpson would have been a superb combination. Personally, I don't agree with your Dad's opinion; we should sign Simpson and a Dex type of player to go along side him - it will turn out to be a lethal combination IMO.

I agree but Blackstock has now gone and young German showed some of his heading skills, reminded me of Blackstock when finding players with his head.

I'd love Blackstock to come back but don't think it will happen.

Defo don't want Dex back. I will stick with my original thoughts on him that he's slightly lazy and behind the pace and defo not clinical. But thats just my opinion of course. I would like to see someone like Lambert, Cox, Beckford, Hooper,players that are def realistic.

I'm all for moving on and would prefer someone other than Dex - and I agree 100% about German: He looks as though he has what it takes to become that type of player so under Warnock's guidance (and he has a good record with young hopefull's) we may not have to look too far for the perfect foil for Simpson. Go on Neil, give him a chance now.

Letting Dex go was a mistake. I'll stick by that, but he has gone and we move on. What's done is done. We should concentrate on what's ahead rahter than our dissapointing last few years.

Simpson is a quality player. He get's into opportunities. I said before he came, he's not a natural finisher but a very good striker, all the same. We should definately try to sign him as he's still learning and this season has found some good scoring form.

We need a bid battering ram and a poacher to add to German and Simpson. That will make us a far greater team.
