Bobby The Dazzler tells me it will be open to fans, so surprised we've not heard anything about club packages for this trip.

Must say, if not too expensive I am tempted.

Ditto, I thought they'd announce the Gulf Air deals at the same time.

Don't think I'll be going, I'm skint, my passport has run out and i dont like hot countries lol

Vice President of the Bahrain Football Association, Shaikh Ali Bin Khalifa Bin Ahmed Al Khalifa*, said: "The BFA is delighted to host the QPR Training Camp in Bahrain.

"QPR has very strong roots in the Kingdom and the brand is becoming increasingly visible.

"Naturally, the BFA sees QPR as the ideal European Club to form a partnership with; we admire their commitment to developing the game in Bahrain, and we admire QPR's dedication to use football as a tool for community development.

"Hosting this Training Camp is only the first step; we hope to synergize our relationship through other joint initiatives planned for the near future.

Gulf Air will announce 'supporter packages' next week. If the price is reasonable I would be tempted. But I suspect many fans won't be able to afford this and renewing their ST within weeks of each other.

Looks far cheaper to do about 6 days out there then just 3-4 but is anyone else on here serious about going as we could try and get the same hotel etc and make it a WATRBS beano?

Cheapest trips are with Qatar airlines which for a 3-4 day trip is about £380 but found a 6 day trip for £424

Do we know when the club will release the Gulf Air prices? I expect they will do a 2 day trip for something like £3000

Should not take so long to fly there?
I did fly 10 hours from Helsinki to Japan
last year but that was a much longer distance?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:
