The players do it every season. They presume we are safe and stop playing or caring. Pathetic

Doesn’t matter what manager we have, the last 3 or 4 seasons have been the same. I agree that Warburton seems very one dimensional in the way he sets us up. Same subs every game and almost the exactly the same time.Originally posted by Shania View PostIt`s is partly because of Warburton and his shortcomings as a manager.

to some extent I agree, but it is also coming from higher up at the club. The lack of incoming business in the January window since 2015 is evidence of that. The only window they were active in was the 1st under Holloway. I get FFP has a big part in it, but surely they could have signed a striker on loan from somewhere that wouldn't have broken the rules. Afterall, Wells Mlakar and Smith were recalled and Leistner was offloaded. Surely this freed up enough to pay loan wages of 1 more striker.Originally posted by Shania View PostIt`s is partly because of Warburton and his shortcomings as a manager.

Agreed. Although I thought he would have been a good appointment having seen 2/3 of the season I am disappointed with Warburton. As you say he is very one dimensional and his choice of subs is often very disappointing. I don't want to see the defenders and midfielders passing the ball amongst themselves in their own half and often giving the ball away conceding goals in the process. I prefer the ball cleared away from danger and the fancy stuff played in the opponents half.Originally posted by Fordy View Post

We will be struggling for the foreseeable future under these owners, keep on hiding behind ffp rules the easy way of not explaining anything to the fans, they could and should of brought in a striker and defender.
I blame them, MW is fighting a losing battle, I think these owners need to put up or sell up, or we will be slipping through the leagues, it has been a disaster ever since they have taken over.

Yeah I bet they are queuing round the block to buy us . Spot on, and our 4 last manager choices have been very poor. JFH, Olli, Steve M and now Warburton.Originally posted by Fordy View Post

Spot on, It must be quite obvious that this way of playing it is far from solution when many of our defenders don`t feel comfortable enough with the ball at their feet. It does actually humilate them...

Your having a laugh, hiding behind ffp, Christ it’s a reality or have you not realised that, I’m sure they will do what they can when allowedOriginally posted by Macca View PostWe will be struggling for the foreseeable future under these owners, keep on hiding behind ffp rules the easy way of not explaining anything to the fans, they could and should of brought in a striker and defender.

Is there a manager in this league that spent less this season as well as having his top scorer taken away and not replaced ? Warburton is doing this job with his hands tied behind his back . I think he deserves a summer to hopefully invest a few quid on his choice of players .Does this sound reasonable or am I just putting a spin on it ?Last edited by Stainrod; 08-02-2020, 10:59 PM.
