It's in the Sun so it's probably rubbish. Much as I love Ainsworth though I'm not sure, I think there are better options out there.
Done a great job on a shoestring at Wycombe mate. I'd prefer McLaren, but Ainsworth is a better shout than a lot of other names that have been mentioned, in my opinion.

He's done a brilliant job there mate, I just think he's probably better served staying with Wycombe in terms of getting managerial experience and all that. Warburton or McLaren would be my preferred choices. Fark Cotterill.

Would personally rank Ainsworth as a better bet than Warburton right now. Not that Warburton is a terrible shout. But I'd take a young up and coming manager who's just got his side promoted, over a guy in his 50's who's been binned from his last 2 jobs. Neither the Forest or Rangers fans took to him at all, and I think you need to listen to that. Hughes was a similar proposition, looked good on paper but if you speak to fans of clubs he's managed, most of them don't like him!

Didn't people also say Jimmy Floyd was a young up-and-coming manager? I just don't want Ainsworth to come in and end up as disliked as Ollie is.

Very true on JFH mate. Difference is (with the benefit of hindsight) JFH was a flash in the pan, piggybacking off good work done by his predecessor Gary Rowett. He really only had 1 good season.
Ainsworth has worked hard over 5 seasons with a limited budget to get Wycombe promoted.
Give it a rest now, and I think you owe me an appologize, CroydonCaptainJack. Point is that It can end in tears. Besides, why do you want me to quit posting on the site? Please, stop replying when I comment on something. For the record; I am just as huge QPR fan as many of your mould who just love to dig me out for everything I say.
