ok we have sheff utd at home, in a replay ..which is winnable, always a tough team blades but

then it's bolton away..now for many qpr IF we play them , a new ground against a struggling team
1500 qpr making noise who knows, if the team play well ...winnable

then it's the 5th rd and suddenly it's a visit to the dr's cos this is unknown territory to many qpr fans....

hahahahahaha...it's when you win a few cup games, get excited and mix it with the big boys...
once in the yrs long gone in a galaxy far away qpr went to wembley in the FA CUP FINAL...may 82 v spurs and drew 1-1 aet fenwick scored a classic qpr long throw set piece. replay lost 0-1 hoddle penalty
we were a good div 2 team and beat mboro 3-2 away in replay after 1-1 home draw
drew at bpool away 0-0 and won replay at home 5-1 next grimsbly 1-0 and into q/fs
beat palarse 1-0 in 89th min, allen goal
semi's..wow...at highbury v wba, a good team they were then..regis was feared but sir bobby hazell marked him out of the game and er allen score a 1-0 winner and wembley...we waited as leics were winning v spurs but spurs scored late and a london final.
we were brilliant in the replay, goal disalloewed, pen waved away but lineo kept waving ref ignored him....hoddle cleared one off the line, gregory chipped over clemence and hit bar....a true cup run...

then in 85 we went to the milk cup final..after beating chelsea and lpool on the way...
great team great days

Ah yes, vaguely remember those days......but a dim and distant memory. We haven't made it past the 4th round since when, 1995?

Great times & walking to Wembley in 82.
The FA Cup has changed now though, the top teams don't care about it anymore, the fans ae not so interested, just look at the attendances this year for the 3rd Round.
I remember when winning the FA Cup was what every player wanted to do and when both BBC & ITV covered the Final from early morning, now its just a two hour slot on Sky if your lucky.
Still wont complain if we get there again though.
