This club is still attractive to many footballers. Problem is we have a strict wage cap and thats stringent for a club like ours, so even if we are not getting in the david Beckham's of this world.

You cannot blame the club for wasting money, then ask them to pay a player 30k a week because you like them. Its a competitive world, but due to the fairly low turnover, you simply cannot be stupid about it and throw money up the wall. Its difficult and very easy to pick holes.

How many on here for example would have spent 2.5 million on Watson before he came on loan and how many would do it now??

What about the wages we have wasted on people like Pelicori, Alberti, Di Carmine and Parejo etc.?

Even Steven Reid was on good money.

    All adds up.

You've named 4-5 players, we've probably got in around 40??

Reid and Parejo could have worked out.

The two duds have been Pellicori and Alberti

            Parejo was on good money.

                    You haven't seen Leigertwood then.

At least Watson could control a ball and had a higher pass completion rate than Leigterwood.

Some people are obsessed with Leigterwood.

If he stays in the centre of our midfield we will always be a mid table team.

No surprise that since he has gone back to centre mid we have hardly won a game. Bristol City being the exception and he was sh1te.
