after so many red herrings, false dawns
surely we accept by now....99% of rumours are just that
and whoever, if an, signs..they will not be the world class player we all want and have heard of....
some loans work, many don't
shame we can't develop our own quality players ( above the age of 15) and yes, balanta,german and rose will get mentioned..but not exactly in the team are they??
so we develop players for other clubs...this is not meant to be a negative post but a few threads on signings ongoing and of all the names bandied around, we won't sign one.

surely big dan is not an answer ( did he succeed at watford or bolton??)
we need 2 full backs....i always felt steven kelly did well for us
when was the last time steven reid played? and where is he these days??
what happened to talk of pavlychenko from spuds?? THAT WOULD BE A MAJOR AMBITIOUS SIGNING.
if we are making signings we need to offload too....that could mean heidar ( no loss really) ramage,borrowdale,alberti and ainsworth ( hard as that seems, we all love him but he ain't playing so....)
also imo a decision needs to be made on vine and what to do with rowly...2 cruciates in one year and he wants to play on????
is it time to claim the insurance and retire?? another good player, a loss but as a club we have to move on and up.
