  • any point in signing Hooper or Jackson?

Lets say in january we are in the top 3 or 4,and automatic promotion looks likely, what is the point in signing either of these two, when both would want at least a 3 year contract and who is to say either would be good enough for the premier league.would we not be better,IF in that position(promotion looks likely)to get another premiership striker in on loan, because if we do go up,we will need QUALITY players to survive in that league.

but most of the squads contracts will be nearly up,so why offer a division 3 striker(eg Beckford,Jackson)a 3-4 year contract when neither is likely to be good enough for the top flight?

Woudn't mind Rob Hulse, he would score a hatfull with our midfield and wingers.
        They seek him here.................

It sounds obvious, and I can't believe it actually needs to be said.... but:
We have to go up from the 2nd division first.

You can't assume anything in january.
          Ask a Cardiff fan.
