Phillips was basically binned by Redknapp and when Ramsey took over Phillips thrived and was quoted as a £10m player, so don't know what's happened, confidence maybe who knows.

Can't believe the crap i was reading on here last season and through the summer. He's not out of sorts, he's simply not very good and we should have taken the opportunity to get our money back.
The great assist stats from the end of last season were a false economy - struggling team use lump it in the box tactics and low and behold a wide man is in the thick of it. Think back to bobbys great finish at Sunderland, the assist came from Phillips and only got there because the cross was so poor it bounced over the first mans leg! He gets the ball and just whacks it in the box, rather than using his lightening turn of pace

He's a championship player and no more, and actually one id rather not have in my championship team. Chery had every right to be pissed off when Jonny no confidence hadn't touched the ball at the point he was taken off - even if chery had a slack part in their first goal.
