  • Interesting transfer totals. Take a look.

    Got this from http://www.transfermarkt.com/jumplis...wettbewerb/GB1

Spend big and recoup big for some. Others just spend big. For most just spend and hope to stay premier league. More reason for QPR to get what they are asking for on their players.

Championship teams spend very little with QPR being a big spender in that league without spending much.

    Some really surprising results:

    The relegated teams

    QPR -4.4M
    Burnley -11.5M (largest loss)
    Hull +18M (largest profit)

    promoted teams:

    Watford -22M
    Bournmouth -18.8M
    Norwich -8.6M

    Incredibly

Chelsea Arsenal and Man U each have a net loss around 10M while Levy's Spurs come in a cool 17M to the good.

Meanwhile all will likely be around relegation zone

    Newcastle -47M
    WBA -21M
    Sunderland -25.4M

    Premier league security?

    Leicester -24M
    CP - 21M
    WHU - 18.5M

Personally I think WBA, Norwich, Sunderland could benefit big time forking over another 15M for Charlie.

Does that include the Sterling money?

Comparison, Look at the TRANSFER INCOME/ - EXPENDITURE of last 7 years. (particularly since 2012 when you know who took over at Ipswich, i make it about £150 million spunked since then)

      The defence rests your honour

Not very good with all these numbers, so in a nutshell: good or bad?
Sack the board or sing Hosanna? No middle ground please, that is boring.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

No doesn't include Sterling money that I saw so we are infact about 3-4M to the good. throw in the Mutch money from Jan and we're about 8M to the good.

Is it good? Who can say? The business model for 90% of the non prem clubs appears to be build on loans and free transfers. QPR have spent quite a bit in comparison but nothing approaching most prem teams. As we know, spending big is no guarantee of success in the prem. I'd be very concerned at WBA, Newcastle, Sunderland, Watford though it appears much can be recouped. With that said, buy Gale and this Byrne guy some go on here about (never seen him play) if Austin and Phillips are sold and we're very competitive for top 6 while still generating a 15M+ profit in the market. Include the wage cutting this summer and we appear to finally be run well.

There is a reason they haven't been in the prem then recently.

Could we just create an Ipswich forum on the board for certain people or better still they could simply use

Or move the posts into the away fans section please

WOW, such incredible news, a team is top of the championship after 4 games, tell you what, they've already won it then, its impossible for us to catch up given there is a massive 3 point gap between us and them and there are only 42 games left to be played in the season.
