    Just seen on dot.org that he is stepping down as Crawley manager to have heart surgery. Best wishes to a top player and manager

    I still remember that off side we won from that free kick under his management, one of my favorite moments.

      John's a really lovely guy and one of the very few who entered into correspondence with me when he was manager of QPR.He's probably got the same problem I had a couple of years back,and may go through the same procedure.My very best wishes for a speedy recovery.

          Cheers mate,much appreciated.I had an angioplasty followed by a couple of stents into blocked artiaries after a mild heart attack.Hopefully John's problems are no more serious.
