  • could brentford become the rebuilding of qpr

the only common sense plan to rebuild loftus road is to shut the stadium and to take the ground level down by 50 foot and by building the sides a bit higher say about 20 foot the qpr ground would hold 30 thousand

but could brentford become our best fruiends we could let them play here for a very low amount whilst they build there new ground, then we could shair there ground while we re build loftus road

so we end up with an all seater loftus road holding 30 thousand it could be a tight ground that generates fantastic atmosphere

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK IS IT A NO BRAINER OR A CRAP STRAINER

You can't go lower and if we did, the pitch would become smaller. All options for LR have been looked at Ted.

i personally would love to stay at Loftus Rd, but i'm not sure it's a viable option would need great help from H&F council, also the ony way for HQ to expand would probably mean buying al the houses in ellerslie Rd and Loftus rd behind the ground flatten it and rebuild which would probably take 3or 4 years, and at what cost? and also having to move while ground being redeveloped, but can't see H&F giving permission to develop L/Rd because they wnat to regenerate the Old oak common area and want us to go there ,

Let's do the opposite, raise the new structure above the surrounding houses, then we can have a bigger pitch over them and enormous stands as well. Then build treetop footpaths to connect the stadium to Westfield and the tube stations. It could be amazing.

30,000 capacity is big enough for us now, but in another 20 years? Definitely not. Why spend £100mil+ and 5 years building, on something we will outgrow in a decade. We must move.

Stay at Loftus Road and build a side that compete in the PL year after year first!

No, that's too sensible. Let's continue yo-yoing between the divisions while wasting enormours sums on aged and bored mercenaries and on a pie-in-the-sky new ground that we cannot afford when relegated.

It's more fun than staying put, that would be too boring.

You seem to be labouring under the gross misconception that supporting QPR should/could be fun

I've heard whispers we might end up ground sharing with Brentford, not sure where though.
