How can you even guess it won't be enough before a ball has even been kicked we have no idea until the league settles down what the magic figure is could be 20points could be 45. I believe more often then not 35 points keeps you up and I would put my head on the block and say if we get 10 wins we will be safe as we would prob pick up 5 to 6 draws during the season

Think 40points has only been needed twice in premier league history from memory. More often then not get 35 and your safe obviously if you gave me 40+ now would take your hand off

I am merely of the humble opinion that two good sides came up with us this season, certainly proved better than us and Leicester are not without a fair amount of financial backing.

Like you, I'd take your hand off for 40 points and I can see it being needed. Err on the side of caution and all that.

Of course it's all speculation but the sooner we get some wins under our belt, the better chance we have to gain some confidence and survive!
