Why oh why oh why is Nicklas Bendtner a first choice Premier League striker. He is one of those elite bunch of strikers who take home thousands of pounds every week despite looking incapable of scoring. Against Burnley, he missed countless guilt-edged chances that I would have expected people's grannies to be able to score –yet he will most likely start up front against Porto in the Champions League tonight. I cant see how or why Arsene Wenger has remained faithful to him, refusing to sign another striker and not even giving Jay Simpson a chance ahead of him (though we should be thankful of that I suppose). I agree with this Arsenal fan on Betfair Football that the Gunners should have enough even without the Dane in the side to progress in the Champions League. But I call on Wenger to see what every other football fan in the UK has seen and get a good striker to replace Bendtner.
