Just as an aside: In a league match last month, Cesena's goalkeeper jonathan Klinsmann (son of Jurgen) picked-up a very serious injury (fractured his neck in a collision with an opposition player) would you believe in the final minutes of the match. Obviously ruled him out for the rest of his league campaign, but also rules out his chances of playing for the USA this summer. I guess it remains to be seen whether he'll ever get back to playing again - don't think you can be the same player psychologically after that.

Ashley Cole Appointed Head Coach of Cesena FC.
Ashley Cole has just been appointed as Head Coach of Italian Serie B side Cesena FC. Cesena have recently had high hopes of a play-off position, but their cause has appeared to have stuttered recently under coach Michele Mignani and they now sit in 8th position. I shall be watching his progress with great interest.
