I hated Marti because of his tactics , think i'm starting to dislike Stephan , he sets us up to be so negative and boring away from home . We just sit back and hope not to concede , when we normally concede we then try . I hate negative football , so many teams are like it nowadays , football is so #### now , does my nut in.
I will say it now , cannot see us winning another away game all season , might nick the odd boring draw , #### off Stephan , sort it out.

Few things stood out for me
1, out wingers far too lightweight
2, Hayden more than capable of replacing varane
3, Burrell badly missed his pace
4, chair for all his critics is missed
5, Walsh handling was spot on and kicked well
6, possibly the worse ref to get his badges

We have been unfit all season
We are negative away from home
Agree wingers too lightweight
Chair the only player that can keep possesion and get us up the pitch away from home.
If Stephan wants to play this negative football away from home , why play Dembele , Smyth , Saito etc , why not play extra defensive players like 3 centre backs or Morgan , Field as extra midfielders. Field is probably the most and best defensive player we have but can't even get a game when we have all these injuries.
I am starting to think Stephan is clueless.
This division is so poor but we go to Stoke and let them have 300 odd passes more than us and 70 percent possession.

Needs a WK in the sunshine?! Bloke needs to sort out his diet and get fitter. Has ability but needs to get fit. Sir Les would have been in his ear if he were around, just p iss poor imoOriginally posted by Stanfan View PostRef so inconsistent on bookings both sides.
worried kone run out of puff and needs a week in the sunshine. Kolli a bit off the pace too. Such a boring game!I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I did predict that we'd strangle the game to death and it's more or less the outcome I expected. BUT... I'm not sure we pulled it off tactically, we seem to have killed the game by being pretty awful instead. Still, a point is a point - do it again on Tuesday and and maybe grab a win if we're clinical with any chance that comes our way.

The first few games he looked ok but now looks very unfit , as do a lot of our players. We has a #### pre season fitness wise and our players still look unfit , most of them look knackered after a couple of sprints. The very minimum for a pro football team is for the players to be fit surely , our coaches need to be questioned. When we play away our football is very slow and lacks energy , i would love to know the stats for sprints , miles covered by us compared to the rest of the Championship. We also give the ball away a lot , probably due to tired players .Originally posted by DJ Hooper W12 View PostKone not living up to expectations,as poor as we are he doesn’t make the grade. Must be some young lads in league one who would run their legs off playing for us. Really need a good finisher

I'm pretty sure these stats show that we are okay in comparison to other teams, not the best but not the worst - average basically. Don't forget that these stats can be skewed by squad-size... we currently have injuries, so have to "overwork" the fit players and maybe some players will therefore be sluggish in the upcoming two game week. Ideally we'd bring in Poku on Tuesday but instead we'll have to use Dembele again. So, if Dembele's fitness stats next week are down a bit I wouldn't conclude he was lazy/unfit, it would be indicatory if him needing to be subbed/rested due to over-work.Originally posted by Harrow QPR View Post

BUT, I think there is room for our players to use their brains more than their feet... running up and down blind alleys with no end product is nugatory and pointless exertion. I remember watching a high-skill, high intensity pressure cooker WC game years ago that was absolutely bossed by Lothar Mattheus despite the fact he barely broke into a jog or moved far from the centre circle. He would have been bottom of the runs, sprints and yards tables but top of the tackles and passing ones.... brains over muscle.
