The players are not the only problem here. Marti doesn’t have a clue about how to manage in this league and if someone doesn’t tell him soon we will be down before we know it.

Playing possession football effectively entirely depends on this, and having players comfortable in recieveing the ball anywhere on the pitch.

We do not do the first and have very few who can do the second.

Doesn't mean we can't play nice, flowing football, but we can't build slowly like we are trying to.

I thought we've been ok, more threatening than they are.

All in all a bit average, need some quality to make those half chances real converted chances don't we.

Someone, somewhere, please teach the lads how to hit a dead ball.

I am not watching this today, it sounds like we have been a bit wasteful with our half chances and most of their attempts have been from poor defending on our part? It would be great to come out of this one with a result, let's hope we have a strong second half, maybe we might see a new signing making a debut!

It was an okay half, Blackburn are another poor side. Hopefully a couple of the newbies can come on and change the game for us.
