Should have made a change start of the second half Johansen off Armstrong on, as the midfield was not working with Johansen on the pitch, but as normal make changes to late, be interesting what the lineup is on Saturday and see if MB has learnt anything from tonight.

Bettache worth a try in the midfield. What I’ve seen of him in the past is he’s more forward thinking and skilful. Drop Dozzell or Johansen in place

Do we have a scout , must be some decent young players in the lower leagues , who would put more effort in than some tonight, or was it just an off night ?

Disappointing to read so many "Beale is out of his depth " comments ,and the usual " the ref is crap,bent ect" nonsense .
Beale is an intelligent coach ,be will need time to implement his ideas ,I have total faith in him to do well here

Same applies from the first 45mins of the first game....the transfer window doesnt close until 1st Sept and due to finances we will end up doing late business when prices are more realistic.

A back 3 of who though, he obviously doesn’t rate masterson so do you put field back there and have no bite in midfield at all

No improvement on the breadman for me but not really surprised coz he had gray and Austin to come off the bench what did Beale have tonight ? Not a lot just a lad who is trying and just needs a goal to kick start his career , it’s time to bench stef I’m afraid , but who comes in , we are so limited it’s frightening, squad so thin , that’s why I’m sorry but we have to sell willock to stand still and not get dragged into a dogfight .

Well that was woeful , he needs to see that some of these players are not up to the job , strolled around always looking backwards, we have to sell willock and get 4 players in quick , nothing up front , static midfield and nothing on the bench , thanks for ruining my day tomorrow at work in sunny Blackpool!!!!

Agree we must sell Willock to generate cash for the benefit of the whole squad. Perhaps there have been developments and thats why he wasnt in the squad? Even if they said he was still injured.....

If Johansen had showed more effort in blocking Bowler shot they don't score that's a couple of games he has not done enough to stop someone scoring.
