We will be playing a Reading team still missing 4/5 first team regulars plus possibly 3 who hardly played a game this and last season. If we can just sort out our first half woes we should, in reality, be giving them a bit of a hiding.
We had a strong finish last season, a Strong start this season and have made some positive adjustments to the squad, me thinks a good day is on the way.
Think Ojaria is available for first time this season too. Basically, we will be facing a "proper" Reading, not the transitional Reading that's played opening games of season.
I expect a tight game with a disappointing result.

It’s been a while! I can’t wait for tomorrow. A lot of excitement since the transfer window has closed. Reading will be a tough game however I think we could nick it 2-1 if not 1-1. I think he will go unchanged from the coventry game however I would really like to see Gray and Austin up top together.
For me this next run of games will tell me if we really are promotion chasing contenders or, like I predicted at the start of the season, we are a top half team pushing for play offs. I am so happy with the unbeaten start but this next run of games will be tough…Bournemouth and West Brom away, but if we can go toe to toe with these 2 teams and pick up some points I might start dreaming.
Credit to the club, they’ve always tried doing their best for us even through the most difficult times and the squad they have assembled this season is the best we’ve had in a good few years. It’s going to be full on, game after game for the next 22 days and one of the most testing periods of this campaign but I know we will give it our all and the boys will do us proud.

Its sod's law that Reading have suddenly really strengthened their squad, bit like we did in Jan.
As you say Drinkwater is a serious player at this level (tho maybe a bit rusty) and Dann v experienced. Toilet is toilet. Their very good midfield player Ejaria is available for his first game of the season, so they could improve dramatically and their current league standing is probably a bit of a false position.
I predict another slow, frustrating first half with Charlie toiling a bit ineffectually up front. My only optimism is a lot of these players they have brought in are quite old, so as they tire we might produce another of our famous late shows.
Danny Drinkwater Christ he must earn more than our whole squad. He will do very well dropping to our level. Certainly not going to be easy. Danns also a class act at this level, please don't all get to optimistic. I think we will drop down to mid table over the next month which is probably about where we're at.
Reading brought in six new recruits this summer, despite being under a transfer embargo.
They managed to secure the loan signings of Tom Dele-Bashiru, Baba Rahman, and Danny Drinkwater on loan, plus Junior Hoilett, Alen Halilovic, and Scott Dann on one-year deals on free transfers.
It will be a tight game !!
Its a strange kind of transfer embargo indeed. The usual 1-0 scoreline, but I don't know who to.
