Ray had an arrogance about him that made him the superb player he was. Wishing him a speedy recovery

I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

I know having met the guy that he's a top fella and a real gentleman. Thoughts go out to Ray and his family. I hope it ain't as bad as it sounds in the media.

Alright chaps let's all calm down. Hope he pulls through, certainly was a good player for us when I was growing up. Did definitely ruin all that as a manager but they're just facts. Get well soon ray!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

You must of missed his so called managerial career but OK let's all just stop. He just deserves respect because the poor guy is extremely ill

OK kev yes we all should hate Chelsea with a real passion, although it is very odd some don't but I think you're taking this all a bit far now. Chill

Yeh tbf he was a rubbish manager. Still had a far better win/loss record than Ian Holloway though.

Just surprised some of the attitudes on here. Frankly farking embarrassing.

Dont take away what he is, chelsea through and through and was terrible for us as a manager, but cos he is ill we aint allowed to mention that.
What have you done for the club mate, out of curiosity?

If it's better than 176 games, all in the top flight and being one of our best players in a generation I'll gladly take back my comment.
