Kolli looking a good prospect. Smyth, together with JCS and Cook best players so far. GK Nardi looks assured also. Spurs are very strong though.

We can't really lose this, other than the ft scoreline.
We have been good, working hard and creating a little.
You can see the difference in quality and Johnson is having Paal on toast. But that is what we should expect.
Great goal from Spurs.
Jimmy looks comfortable against prem opposition.
Frey looks a handful.
Cook and JCS superb.
Kolli exciting player.

Enjoyable game. Did well against a good side. Still worried about Paal. Also Dykes, although working hard again, seems almost to act as a bottleneck stopper for a lot of our attacking moves. Kolli good today. But a good day generally. I thought we looked good. Work to do though.

Despite the scoreline, I felt this was more than a decent match by Rangers. We held our own for long periods and could so easily have taken something from the match. I was particular surprised by the impact of the youngsters that entered the pitch for the final 20 minutes. Alfie Lloyd got close on a couple of occasions, as did Dykes, when our youngsters upped the tempo of the match.
Nardi was brilliant throughout and MOM for me. Kolli looks a handful, and alongside Cook and Andersen, he was our best outfield player. Other than that: Colback was much better than EDB, Dunne much better than Santos and Smyth is not a left winger. Frey looked much sharper than last season. Paal had big problems against Johnson.
Of the new guys, Nardi was the outstanding one. From the little I saw of Santos and Morrison, I don't think they will be starters.
It is still six weeks left of the transfer window, and I expect a few changes to our starting lineup before 1 September.
