As our fans have got older they've stopped coming that's a fact and we can't attract youngsters they go with the big established London clubs . Giving away tickets isn't the answer we've tried that before , like it or not we are stuck at loftus road for many years to come
I love LR, can still remember when our stadium was one of the more modern stadiums around and had some rival fans envious of us, even our flood lights were futuristic. .
Obviously that was almost a lifetime ago.

Touching on Myus post about a 40K stadium/complex; whichever way you try to spin this, we need alternate income as we will never generate enough money to sustain us long term as a CCC club.
Over here, The Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL) and The Toronto Raptors (NBA) share a 20K+ arena.
One night its an ice rink, next night it's a basketball court.
On top of this, there are concerts, conferences and various trade shows.
Add on the naming rights (recently changed from The Air Canada Centre to The Scotia Bank Arena) for a few million a year.
This is the model that many pro sports teams are having to follow, and the sooner we have a ground that can accommodate more than a couple of dozen matches a year, the sooner we can start to properly progress.Last edited by Fraggy; 14-02-2020, 02:49 AM.

The key is to fill the stadium and generate new support and income.
I would offer cheaper season tickets, Offer schools, college and Uni students tickets next to nothing and bring them in.
Sell cheap tickets on the door and promote it to tourists with an offer.
Hopefully, we create a car park and charge away supporters. Maybe offer free parking with season tickets and charge per car to all others?
40k Stadium that can be used for other events, which brings in additional income. We could have a nice wine bar/night club and even a casino in the stadium which brings in money every day?
I hate the excuse that we can't fill the ground, we can if the price is set right. Some people may not start off as fans but over time they'll become supporters, it will take a few years but it will be worth it long term.
We can give tickets away in competitions and promotions.
If we want to compete paying good wages, we need a bigger ground.

Regarding our youngsters Eze and Chair have not longed signed new deals so that leaves us in a good position should we get offers. With Manning and Bos we still have the option to extend their contracts by another year this summer . As Les said in the video talks are ongoing regarding new deals for them . I would say if Manning or Bos have not signed new deals by the end of the season they will be sold in the summer .Now before the usual suspects start screaming about why these 2 could possibly be entering the last year of their contracts , remember that Manning was bombed out on loan last season and Bos rarely played so why would the club not in a great position financially have rushed to offer them long contracts on decent money .Remember everyone raving about Lumley last season who then got a new improved deal and now we can’t give him away .
I thought they were out of contract this summer, thanks Stainrod, you sooth my worries

My main concerns after listening to it though, is football has moved on since the old QPR way of bringing through the youngsters.
They were saying we will sell on our terms, but these kids have agents now who are looking for easy money moving them on, so when we offer contracts that are good for QPR, these parasites, can tell them,no move on for better money.
Also what is the point of having an academy?
The fa need to protect clubs from the vultures of the prem.

I could listen to Lee Hoo's all day long, brilliant person to have at our football club
Warburton is the best manager we can possibly and realistically have right now, I have a lot of faith in Mark and think he should be here for the long term so we can build with stability
Les Ferdinand is unsurprisingly my issue, good DOF build teams, buy for minimum sell for maximum, keeping players on realistic contracts so we don't get silly money for them.
I just can't tell you what Les does positively for this football club
"If we lose a player, we lose them on our terms" Austin 4million 19 premier league goals, 6 months left on his deal, Robinson free, Freeman top assist in this league, a low 5million, Smithies, a keeper we can't replace years later 3.5million. Least we forget the reckless money wasting in the likes of Cousins, Bidwell etc money wasted. Sure sure, our terms. Not the fact their contracts arent long enough for us to get max value from them or that we have wasted our money. Sure, Les is robbing a living
"We need our scouts to see what Mark wants"
It's not JUST about Mark, really the manager needs to fit into what the DOF thinks is the right player, managers shelf lifes are too short to please the manager. Don't misunderstand me, the manager needs to be involved but the manager is not key in this day and age of football. It's the style the DOF thinks QPR have currently got. A club like ours cannot progress with this thinking

The clubs is in a sticky place but looks like its sticking to its guns waiting for others to fall into ffp misdemeanours, Hoos is no fool I believe him and Dyche were the main two for turning Burnley around.
I have no objection to the plan of recruit and sell for profit and im not fussed about getting to the premier whilst the #### up Var is in place either.
